Maple Pecan Protein Bars

These protein bars are rich, sweet, and full of wholesome ingredients. Utilizing dates and Lakanto Maple Syrup, they are sure to satisfy your sweet tooth! Try them out as a mid-day snack or breakfast on the go.

Ingredients

  • 8 Pitted Dates (80g)
  • 2.5 Servings MRM Natural Vanilla Whey Protein Powder
  • 1/4 Cup Chopped Pecans
  • 1 Tbsp Coconut Flour
  • 1 Tbsp Lakanto Maple Flavored Sugar-Free Syrup (or other maple syrup of choice)
  • 1 Tbsp Water
  • 1.25 Tsp Maple Flavoring

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients except for the pecans in a food processor and blend until dough forms. If mixture is too dry, add more water in increments of 1 tsp until a dough can form.

  2. Add chopped pecans and pulse briefly to mix the pecans throughout the dough.

  3. Remove dough and press it into a wax paper lined square tupperware. 

  4. Cut into 4 pieces and enjoy!

Notes

  • If you have trouble finding maple flavoring in your local grocery store it can also be found on Amazon or other online grocers.
  • I also highly recommend trying Lakanto's Maple Syrup. It's sugar-free, but it's made with monk fruit, so no need to worry about all those scary fake sweeteners.
