Healthy Basil Pesto Sauce

With the use of green peas and avocado this Basil Pesto is creamy and low in fat but still rich in flavor! I recommend trying it on spiralized vegetables, sandwiches, or chicken.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Basil (packed and not chopped)
  • 1/4 Cup Green Peas
  • 1/4 Cup Avocado
  • 3 Tbsp Parsley (not chopped)
  • 1 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1/2 Tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 Tsp Fresh Minced Garlic
  • 1/4 Tsp Salt
  • 1/8 Tsp Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Add additional salt and pepper to taste and you're done!
